Also if playing weeknights after work, consider 1500 point games for this league to make sure you get the game completed in time.
Thanks

Dom’s Tau shot enough of my Dameons off the board and successfully fought for those objectives. It was really close though, 56-53 with the Tau squeaking away with a hard fought victory.

A truly glorious game between Wolves and Astra Militarum, that neither one of us knew how it would end until turn 5.
I took the hard fought win against Kyle, 66-59.

I played against Marshall's Dark Angels last night and wholly crap it was in interesting game. My exalted lord of change "Big Bird" went down to a stubborn unit of Aggressors and a whole bunch of chip wounds from bolter fire. It did look like the game was going to be a Daemon victory up until the end of turn three when we stopped and looked at what was actually going on. The daemons brought most of the characters to one or two wounds remaining and most of the units were brought to one or two models remaining but no whole Dark Angels' units actually fell during the game. The points started to swing in the Dark Angels favor when they cleared the daemons off all the objectives and were able to completely table them by the end of turn 5. At the end of the game the Astartes had a perfect game with a score of 100-54 Dark Angels victory. If I learned one thing it is this, I'm taking my own Astartes out of retirement and bringing them to the table again and I'll be ready for a rematch.
