I figured I would make a post about the things we should keep in mind with the new boards. After my first game with them I ran into a few questions that came up. I hope this helps clear things up for people. I will update this post when FAQ 1.5 clears things up or if I find more concrete answers to the ones that I am not 100% on.
Can you place objectives on the lethal hexes?
Yes, they are not blocked hexes, so per the rules we can unless they clear this up in the next FAQ. Furthermore, the objectives currently would not then negate the lethality of those hexes, and you would take damage when you moved onto them. Again, unless they clear this up in an FAQ I think this is the current RAW consensus I can find online.
If I push someone into a lethal hex, and that was the last damage needed to kill the fighter do I get glory for the kill?
EDIT: This one is a bit more subtle. The damage for lethal hexes do not count as damage from your Warband. Ergo, if you kill someone by pushing them into a lethal hex, you still get the glory for an enemy dying (because you still get the glory even if they suicided into it). However, it does not actually count as your Warband killing something. So you can't score a victory card off of it that involves "your Warband killing something".
Do you take the damage immediately? (i.e. If I charge with my Orruk through a lethal hex, do I inspire before the attack?)
Yes, the damage is immediate.
If you stop your movement on a lethal hex or are pushed onto one, do you take damage when you activate since you would be standing on it?
No, you only take damage when you enter a lethal hex.
