We will be starting our "Summer" organized play leagues the week of June 7th! Please sign up by Saturday June 5th. We will be extending the play period from 6 weeks to 8 weeks to accommodate potentially busier summertime schedules people. Also there will be other shop activities for gaming.
Here's the league format and details:
1. You must sign up before the league begins! $5 entrance fee, all paid back out in store credit at the end of the league. 50% to the champ, 50% via random raffle. GW leagues will have extra prize support from GW that will be handed out via random raffles and other various reasons. FFG Star Wars leagues will extra stuff as well as we have the organized play kits for Legion, XWing, Armada.
2. By signing up for the league, you are committing to playing 4 games during 8 week period. You will know your 4 opponents ahead of time, so you'll have the entire 8 week period to schedule a day/time with them and get your games in. Players will text each other to set up a day and time for their game. After agreeing to a day, players will then text the event organizer (me) to secure their gaming table for that time.
3. Players will be assigned their 4 opponents for the league semi-randomly. At the end of the league, the participants with the best record will be declared the champion. If there is a tie, then a playoff will be set up to determine the champion. We'll avoid same codex matchups if at all possible, otherwise it will basically be random.
4. Only 5 players are required to get a league started. The $5 entrance fee is due when you show up for your first game. If we have less than 5 players for a particular game but people want to do the league anyways, than we will proceed with less games or playing others twice.
5. To sign up for the league, you must message me (here, facebook, discord, or text) or call the shop, and we'll need your name and phone number. Your phone number will be shared with other members of the league so that everyone can easily communicate to set up their games.
6. Please see the post in your favorite games sub forum for additional details specific to that game system.
Any questions, please ask.
thanks,
Chris
